Selling the family home to fund aged care is never an easy decision, however engaging Chris and Laura was the best decision we made. Please accept this long overdue and most deserved formal thank you for selling our rental property in North Ward this August.
We had been very keen to sell the property for some time but had resisted because there were so many other units like ours on the market which weren’t selling. We were also concerned about upsetting our tenants, who were halfway through their lease.
You quickly built a rapport with our tenants which was crucial in gaining access to the property for open for inspections. Having both of you attend each open was a real advantage because potential buyers were greeted at the front security gate and again inside the upstairs unit. You kept us informed throughout the campaign and consistently followed up any sales leads.
It was such a pleasure working with you. Thanks for being flexible to work around (and sometimes amongst!) our busy family life, it made things much easier for us. Chris Cotterall was our agent for the sale of our property in the Idalia suburb of Townsville. He was professional, efficient, friendly and courteous through out all his involvements in the successful sale of this property.
With two other parties involved, both a tenant and a competitive real estate agent whom were managing the rental property, Chris warmly and effectively interacted with all parties. He was responsible for organising open house and private inspections to fit in with the tenants which included three children, mother and grandparents and ensure legality and key arrangements with the real estate.
Although challenging at times Chris tactfully overcome all hurdles to ensure his role as the agent could be carried out effectively. He promptly organised all marketing including the internet and newspaper articles to a professional and enticing standard.
